The DoiT International team helps companies make the effective use of AWS and Google Cloud products and supports them along the way. As a Strategic Accounts Manager, you're helping by working with large tech companies, to ease their adoption of the cloud using AWS and Google’s cloud platform solutions

You are dedicated to helping our customers — developers, medium and large businesses — to see the benefits of DoiT International expertise come to life. As part of an entrepreneurial team in this rapidly growing business, you'll advocate for the Google Cloud and AWS, promoting technology for business innovation.

You'll work to swiftly problem-solve technical issues for customers to show how our products can make businesses more productive, collaborative and innovative. You work closely with a cross-functional team of customer reliability engineers, not to mention a variety of both regional and international customers.

Your relationships with customers are crucial in helping DoiT International grow its global business and also in bringing our product portfolio into companies both big and small around the world. Your previous experience with cloud platform and infrastructure products, search products, content/document management repository systems and SQL-based relational databases will also be on display as you engage with customers to understand their business and technical requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor to the customer
  • Engage with client organizations to effectively position Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS solutions
  • Work with the wider Customer Reliability Engineering and Finance teams to develop and drive pipeline and provide guidance
  • Serve as the primary customer contact during the entire customer lifecycle with DoiT International
  • Provide quarterly cost optimization workshops to your customers
  • Leverage Sales Engineering and Marketing resources and provide input on current collateral materials and ideas on how to improve them
  • Work with your customers on cost optimization (e.g. FinOps)

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and establish yourself as trusted advisor with Technology companies
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies and solutions in the cloud technology space
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS or Google cloud platforms
  • 5 years of experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer facing role.
  • Confident presenter with excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to rapidly prototype proofs-of-concept and technical demonstrations
  • Ability to speak and write in English
